Metro- Final 5 posters

After discussing in the crit, we came up with the conclusion that if we have both the bird and the worm made out of the letters from the metro, its looks like the metro is catching the metro, so we decided to use a vectorised bird made from the colours from the Metro (blue) and then the worm from the letters. 

Also we decided to have 5 posters, 3 being Teaser posters for adshells and small posters around stations etc...., one big billboard poster and one for bus and tube pannels.

Metro- Development of the early bird catches Metro

Below are some initial sketches for our final concept. 

From these sketches, I came up with the idea of possibly making up the bird and the worm frm the letter of the metro. 

I then decided to make a whole scene up from the letters of the Metro. Below is the design i came up with, which i feel as a typographic image works really well.

Below are some initial sketches for out concept. The idea was to draw more attention on the fact the Metro was free, as well as it being the thing that starts most peoples day off. 

Below is the concept we had of catch the Metro before they fly. The idea of the posters below was to have the paper aeroplanes made up of the metro newspaper.

We came up with the slogan 'The Early Bird Catches Metro', below are some initial computer designs for this concept.
